This is a CLOSED competition, so fencers should be currently affiliated to a fencing club in Sussex or have their primary residence in Sussex.
The County Senior Epee competition is open to fencers 13 and over on the day of the competition. A medal will be awarded for the best U18 fencer, male and female. The U14 Epee competition open to fencers not older than 14 on the day.
Subject to numbers, a team event will also be held for both age categories. In addition, results for the Individual Epee may be used in selection for County representation. This is a CLOSED competition, so fencers should be currently affiliated to a fencing club in Sussex or have their primary residence in Sussex.
Fencers cannot enter both age categories simultaneously but can fence in different age categories for the individual and team events.
Parents, coaches and spectators will not be permitted to remain in the venue. Safeguarding officers will be in attendance to ensure the safety of children throughout the event.
Check-in times: check-in open 8.00 am and closes 8.30 am. Team Epee will follow directly after the individual Epee has concluded.
Competition licence: All competitors must have a valid national fencing licence, which will be checked before the day. Membership can be obtained via the British Fencing website.
Parking: Free car parking is available

Fencers should cancel by calling 07770740272 if they have a raised temperature or have been in association with someone who has Covid-19 or Covid-19 symptoms. Should anyone develop symptoms after the event Sussex County Fencing are to be informed by email at the earliest possibility.
